Garag3 is an initiative started in 2006 by NUS Entrepreneurship Centre, headed by Professor Wong Poh Kam together with the e27 team.
We are a group of alumni of NUS Overseas College(NOC) who brought back concepts of hackathon, developer’s garage and unconference styled events ran in Silicon Valley.
We realized there is always a group of event attendees who eventually form teams and startup. To further assist these people, we decided to create a Garag3 in the midst of the NUS Incubator System with the help of NUS Enterprise.
We embrace a community culture that’s focused on testing ideas early. Ideas meet market forces to help you decide if you should go all in. Think market validation, customer feedback, user testing, minimum viable products, refining marketing pitch, competitive analysis, finding product-market fit, data gathering and all the good stuff you do before building a viable business.
We are a group of enthusiasts with a culture of community learning. We love to share our ideas to improvise your early stage ideas. We give you the opportunity of a one-to-one mentorship from successful entrepreneurs and investors. Not only that, we will be getting you appointments to pitch for seed funding.
We are the ones whom you should approach if you are in your early stage, in the process of doing validation and willing to share your idea in an open culture. We are the one for you to test the feasibility for your start-up idea.
